Jasmine Engineering was founded back in late 1984 by Jasmine Azima.  From her beginnings in Tehran, Iran, Azima came to the United States, worked her way through college and earned a degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.

Azima, a licensed engineer and Commissioning Agent, opened the doors of her firm at the age of 26. Jasmine Engineering became one of the first firms in the State of Texas owned and operated by a female registered engineering. Jasmine Engineering has worked on almost every major City of San Antonio and Bexar County project since the late 80’s. The firm has worked on projects including the Alamodome, Wolff Municipal Baseball Stadium, Henry B. Gonzales Convention Center, International Center, Paul Elizondo Tower at the Bexar County Justice Center, San Antonio International Airport and the San Antonio Police Academy.
